Founded in 1973, and headquartered in Bussolengo, Italy, Byblos clothing was first designed by internationally known Gianni Versace.  French Designer Guy Paulin followed.  Important to the success of Byblos, though, was the long partnership (1981-1996) of English designers, Keith Varty and Alan Cleaver.  Their designs became well known around the world.
